As we express our gratitude, we must never forget that the highest appreciation is not to utter the words, but to live by them. John F. Kennedy
As I wake up this Monday morning of Memorial Day, I am reflective of the freedoms that we enjoy day in and day out. I am grateful for the men and women who put their personal safety aside to save the lives of others, especially those who have died serving this country.
We have come a long way, and there is still work to be done.
It is my sincere hope that we can honor the fallen by living in a way that shines a beacon on liberty and harmony amongst all people. May a steadfast purpose to work as one for the safeguarding of freedom, justice, and peace be ignited in the hearts of all humankind.
Have a great week,
Dr. Jane
