The best way to solve a problem is probably prevention, but what if that’s no longer an option? It’s like the saying “the best time to plant a tree was 20 years ago but the next best time is now.” Too often when we have an ailment or symptom show up we hope that it will just go away by itself. Sometimes it does, but sometimes it shows up later, and the next thing you know you have a chronic issue. Imagine if your car’s check engine light turns on and you just keep driving hoping it will go away! We should listen to the cues that our body is giving us, and we should never tolerate it.
In our office, our ideal is for everyone to be screened for an Atlas misalignment. Like we discussed earlier, prevention is THE best way to solve a problem. Often though, we meet patients when we are the absolute LAST resort. I don’t mind that. We can still help. But imagine the time and resources lost. If you are starting to develop issues, it’s not just because you are getting old or that it’s just in your head. Start today, get help!
Have a great week,
Dr. Jane
