We are entering one of the busiest seasons of the year!
Thanksgiving, Christmas, travel, and visits from family, on top of all of our normal stresses.
Let’s make sure we have the energy to enjoy it! Here are 4 ways you can keep your energy up:
1. Keep to your regular routine. This can be a tough one. Travel, parties, and visiting family members can throw off your routine. Try your best to maintain your normal sleep, diet, and exercise routines.
2. Increase your vitamin supplementation. B vitamins help you get energy from your food. Vitamin C and Magnesium help the body produce energy. Stress increases our energy consumption, these vitamins will help you keep up!
3. Stay Hydrated. Water helps with nutrient absorption, blood oxygen transportation, regulation of body temperature (pretty important now that it’s getting colder!), and optimum physical performance (endurance and strength).
4. Avoid Unnecessary Stress. There are certain stresses you can’t avoid (Hello, Uncle Charlie!) But you CAN say no to that last drink, go home a little earlier from that party, and avoid watching too much news! Find a quiet moment and allow your body and mind to rest.
