This week we are highlighting just one of the success stories we’ve seen at Precision Chiropractic over the past couple of weeks. One of the most satisfying parts of our work is seeing people regain quality of life that may have been gone for a long time.
What made this particular success story so great is not just the fact that she now has less pain (which we expect when we work towards correcting Structural Shifts of the spine) but that she had MORE ENERGY and a MORE POSITIVE OUTLOOK.
You might be thinking “Now, that’s wonderful, but how can that possibly be related to chiropractic? Especially given the fact that this patient had many conventional chiropractic experiences previously which did not provide any lasting results?” For us, that answer is straightforward.
Your central nervous system is constantly sending and receiving automatic signals that, among other things, tell your heart when to beat, your lungs when to breathe, when to produce digestive enzymes after a meal, and what hormones are necessary in order to keep everything in balance. These are just a few examples of what our automatic system does to keep things running smoothly from moment to moment. Most of these functions are things we never have to pay a conscious thought to. A Structural Shift of the spine, when bad enough, can distort those messages. This can result in a laundry list ofSecondary Conditions or symptoms that are, you guessed it, a result of that primary Structural Shift.
Because we take painstaking measures to identify the primary underlying shift that has occurred in each individual patient, we are able to achieve lasting results. Our focus on NeuroStructural Correction means a few things for our patients – precise adjustments, objective measurements (we keep score!) and corrections that hold.
So, does it make sense now that a person’s sleep quality can improve, or that they can feel more energetic when their spine becomes more stable? I hope so! These types of functional changes occur all the time in our office, and we never tire of hearing about people’s progress towards getting back to living the lives they desire. How can we help YOU?
