In our everyday lives, there are countless examples of instances where regular maintenance can easily prevent repair. When you purchase a car, the transaction doesn’t end there. The car will need ongoing maintenance – tires need to be rotated, oil needs to be changed, and fluids need to be flushed periodically to keep the car running as it ought to. Neglect of these routine maintenance issues will surely result in a big repair bill down the line.
When the cost of making repairs is compared with the nominal cost of regular maintenance, it’s plain to see that maintenance is a no-brainer.
An Ounce of Prevention…
It seems that there are a couple of ways to approach health, generally speaking. It boils down to “An ounce of prevention is worth a pound of cure” vs. “If it ain’t broke, don’t fix it.” If the former philosophy rings true for you, chances are you floss your teeth pretty regularly and get an oil change for your car according to schedule. If the latter sounds more familiar, you may find yourself living in blissful ignorance until something unfortunate occurs “out of nowhere.”
At Precision Chiropractic, we offer our patients Protection Plans. They are not forced upon anyone, but rather, it stands to reason that once you’ve taken the time to correct a problem, it makes good sense to protect that investment. The investment our patients make is not only a monetary, but an investment in your time as well. When we complete an initial phase of correction with our patients, it’s cause for congratulations, and while we are thrilled when our patients FEEL better, the real win is that we know they are FUNCTIONING better. Even if the symptoms are long-gone, wouldn’t it make more sense to prevent than to start over?
