Rest & recuperation
Rest & relaxation
Recovery & recreation
Repairs & restoration
No matter how you translate it, it’s about REST. Pausing. Taking some time to appreciate the joys of life.
Full disclosure moment here, folks: sometimes the people taking care of you are notoriously terrible at taking care of themselves. Don’t get me wrong – I see my chiropractor an absolute minimum of once a month, my teeth are clean and cavity-free, I treasure my 8 hours of sleep, and my weekends are often spent enjoying the outdoors. I know how to “take care” of myself.
BUT…when it comes to the whole thing they call work-life balance, I’m admittedly a poor student. I may leave this office at the end of each day, but it never leaves me. I love taking care of people. I love working in a profession that acknowledges and celebrates the innate healing abilities of the human body. I love being part of a solution and striving to be a master at my craft. And when you love what you do, it’s easy to forget to hit the pause every so often. To fill your cup so you can continue to care for others.
So, for the first time since opening the doors of Precision Chiropractic over 6 years ago, we’re taking a week’s vacation. Amber and her husband will be relaxing on the beach in Hawaii and Wes and I will be setting up camp in the Utah desert. I’m excited to unplug and enjoy the company of my husband someplace with no cell service and a vast, beautiful landscape to explore. And, I’m truly looking forward to coming back refreshed so I can continue to take the best possible care of YOU.
If you need a tune-up before we’re out of the office, shoot us a text to get scheduled! We are available this week and Monday of next.
Yours in good health,
Dr. Jane
