Good structure leads to good function. This is a concept that any engineer or architect would agree with. The human body, especially the spine, also obeys this rule.
A healthy and structurally sound spine does the following functions for you:
- Provides the main structural support for your body.
- Protects the wiring between your Brain and Body. (The nervous system)
An abnormal Structural Shift in the spine, however, will cause the following:
- Abnormal stress on the spine (causing muscle spasm, pain, as well as degeneration)
- Obstruction to the communication between the brain and the body (leading to eventual organ and system deficiencies)
A common refrain you hear in our office is that “we don’t add or take anything away from you.”
Our goal is the restoration of the normal structure of your spine, and therefore your function.
