As I have gotten older I’ve realized that I need more regular maintenance on my body than ever before. My workouts are now followed by stretching and muscle work so I can prevent injuries. My knees ache more than they ever have. I tried wake surfing for the first time ever a few weeks ago and had a stiff neck for days! I hear similar stories from you all every week as well.
When our bodies break down, we realize we have taken for granted very simple things like sitting in the car for a few hours without pain or being able to hold on to our coffee cups without dropping them.
My advice for you today is to be proactive, don’t look back with regret. Many of the ailments we face are preventable!
